The app requests access to device features strictly when necessary for creative functionality:
- Photos / Media / Storage Access: Required when you choose to import an existing photo to convert into pixel art (“From photo”), or when you save or share your finished exports (PNG, JPEG, GIF, Sprite Sheets). The app never reads or accesses any other files on your device.
- Internet & Network State Access: Required exclusively by the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) to load and display banner/interstitial advertisements.
2. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS & ADVERTISING
To support the ongoing development of the app and keep it completely free for all users, Pixel Art Maker integrates third-party advertising services provided by Google AdMob.
Google AdMob may collect and process certain non-personal device information in accordance with its privacy policies, such as:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID / AAID)
- IP address (used to determine general coarse location, e.g., country/city level)
- Operating system version and device hardware model

In the event of an unexpected application error or crash, standard diagnostic logs and device metrics may be processed via the Google Play Developer Console to help us identify and resolve bugs. These automated reports do not contain personal user data, passwords, or artwork content.
4. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY (COPPA COMPLIANCE)
Pixel Art Maker is an all-ages creative tool designed for hobbyists, artists, and game developers. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can promptly delete it.
5. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Because Pixel Art Maker operates primarily offline with local storage:
- You retain total ownership and control over all data created inside the app.
- You can delete any individual project, frame, layer, or exported file directly inside the application interface.
- If you uninstall the app or clear the app's cache and data through device settings, all locally stored artwork and settings will be permanently erased.
